Have you fallen into the trap? You go to the gym and you see all of the things you cannot do and you hope to do at some point.
Yes. It’s frustrating. Yes, it’s good to have goals. Yes, it’s good to work towards them, but just take a second to consider the victories you’ve already won!
50% of fitness is just getting to the gym, you did this! great job!
25% of fitness is doing the workout or some sort of workout, you showed up, so you did this too!
This means you are already getting better and moving towards those goals! You are doing a great job!
25% of fitness is everything else. These are the little extra’s that help and make a difference, but don’t forget about all you achieved before this. Just because you didn’t do you extra pull ups today or you did 96% instead of 96.5% of your 1 RM, doesn’t mean you didn’t get better at them in your daily workout!
